I know, I say brussels sprouts and you think of 70’s TV dinners and your mom forcing the hated green on your plate. Stop! Rewind and let me share the only brussels sprout recipe you’ll ever need again to bring this veggie into the 21st century! This is Caesared Brussels Sprouts.
2 containers of brussels sprouts, thinly sliced
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1 tsp dijon mustard
3/4 tsp Worcestershire
Juice of 1/2 a lemon
1/2 tsp garlic, minced
4 anchovy fillets, mashed
1 tsp of hot sauce
Salt, Pepper, and Parmesan to taste
Heat a large sauté pan over medium high heat. Drizzle with EVOO and add the brussels sprouts. Cook until the sprouts are slightly charred.
Meanwhile, combine the mayonnaise, mustard, Worcestershire, lemon juice, garlic, anchovies, and hot sauce in a large bowl. Add the cooked brussels sprouts to the dressing and season with salt, pepper, and parmesan. Serve warm.
This recipe is a sure fire way to get the house eating their greens and loving it! Serve with grilled chicken or my grilled buttery fish recipe for a complete dish!
